My Background

Growing up, my life has always centered around my deep love for animals. I spent my early years volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I discovered my fascination with the intelligence and intuition of dogs. Watching dogs grasp and interpret information has always brought me immense joy and fulfillment.

An Intrinsic Love for Training Dogs

During my time at the shelter, I recognized the individuality of each dog and the importance of personalized care, training, and routines for their success. Upon relocating to Georgia, I shifted my focus to training horses while still maintaining my passion for working with dogs. Even as my health declined, I trained my dog, Bailey, to assist me in overcoming my disabilities. Bailey has become an invaluable companion, granting me newfound independence and freedom.

Commitment to Learning

Seeking to deepen my expertise in dog training, I dedicated myself to studying, researching, and apprenticing in the field. As a result, I earned the title of AKC Evaluator, became a member of IAABC, and am actively pursuing further certifications. My ultimate aim is to enhance the lives of dogs in their homes through effective training methods.

Through the establishment of Total Focus Canine, we have successfully aided countless dogs with diverse needs, ranging from basic obedience training to behavior adjustments and the training of elite service dogs. Many of the service dogs placed by Total Focus Canine have excelled in their roles, bringing joy and assistance to those in require.
